Anna was born in 1989 in Kachkanar, Sverdlovsk region. Vitaly was born in 1990 in Nizhny Tagil. They live in Nizhny Tagil and Yekaterinburg.
Artists work together and independently. In their practice, they use performance, video art, installations, street art, painting. Besides, they organize the music festival “Ural ulcer” and the auction-performance “Action. “Bones”. Also, they research the regional art environment and street art. The Cherepanovs participated in the 4th and 5th Ural Industrial Biennale of Contemporary Art (2017, 2019, Yekaterinburg), Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale (2019, Museum Complex “Peace Square”, Krasnoyarsk), Shiryaevo Biennale of Contemporary Art (2016, Shiryaevo village). In 2019 Anna and Vitaly were nominated for the “Innovation” Prize.
