Zhenya Chaika is a curator, researcher, and author of texts.
He studies philosophy, aesthetics, theory and history of exhibitions, writing in Russian and some European languages.
From 2012 to 2018-curator of The art residency program of the Ural industrial Biennale. In 2017-2018 – artistic Director of the Ural branch of the State center for contemporary art. She was nominated three times for the state prize in the field of contemporary art “Innovation”, in 2018, as part of the team of the 4th Ural industrial Biennale, she became the winner of the award.
Currently, she curates the Shishimskaya Gorka art residency, works as an independent researcher and curator of interdisciplinary, educational and exhibition projects.
