Anna Marchenkova was born in 1990. An artist who mainly works with photography. In 2014, she graduated from the Ural Forest engineering University with a degree in environmental engineering, and in 2018, she completed her studies at the Rodchenko school in the Direction of documentary photography. In 2018 participated in the exhibition “Test Group” in the Ekaterina Foundation (Moscow), in 2017 the project “castles in the Air Almasa” the House of metenkov “Taming the void” in the Ural branch of the NCCA, exhibition research project 4th Ural industrial Biennale of art residence 5-nd Ural Biennale (all – Ekaterinburg). Central to her artistic practice is the study of changes in the urban, ecological and cultural landscape during the anthropocene period. Anna Marchenkova is based in Yekaterinburg and Moscow.
